In case anyone was wondering how big "jumbo" is. The shade measures 27" x 66".
Dog owners alert - good for side windows May 12, 2010 Unnamed 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This shade didn't fit my front window as well as the custom roll-up that I had bought. Too bad, because these accordians store so much better. But, whenever I park with my dogs in the car I go through a process of covering all the windows and installing solar and cigarette lighter fans. Fortunately, I have dark rear windows, and a good front screen, but the side windows always bothered me. One side was always letting in too much sun and heat, if I couldn't park right. I tried making my own shades, which was hilarious, and they were next to impossible to get positioned.
Anyway, I tried this shade, and it has the tab positioned just right so I can easily pull it in to place once I get out of the car. I put the tab under the lip of one of the solar window fans, and it hangs just below them. Now the only opening for sun is where the solar fans actually are. I stuff the window with solar fans and leave all windows open some, depending on the heat (have a car alarm too). I place the cigarette powered fan near the coolest window. (This thing moves a lot of air). A lot of work, but you get used to it, and hey... precious cargo. Florida is heating up, and although I'm never gone very long (even with this system in place) the car is surprisingly cool when I get back, and the dogs are comfortable. These shields (one for each side) were the last piece of my complicated little puzzle.

definitely reflects the heat July 2, 2010 Sandra M. Brown (Concord, NC USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I didn't give it 5 stars because I haven't had it long enough to assess durability. However it definitely fits in my Kia Sorento as long as I don't fold open the final side panel on each end. When I take it off in the afternoon I feel this gush of hot air from behind it. It fits well down on the dashboard and up under the visors so the coverage is excellent and I feel the dash is well protected.
