I have had one of these for about 4 years and it works great. My wife used accordion ones, which are bulky and wilt, and so she barely used it. She got a new car and finally noticed how well these "magic shades" work on my car, so I am ordering one for her.
Some people have trouble folding them. It is easy: grab the upper left and bottom right corner (any two diagonal corners) and twist. When you twist, they form 3 smaller circles. You then push them together and it forms a single stable circle.
They are small enough you can put them under your seat or next to the seat.

I bought this product to use in my Smart Car. The two shades are great, and almost fit perfectly, though they could be about 2" taller.

I had to search a bit to find windshield shade covers that would fit my '99 Jeep Cherokee Sport. The Altus Platinum Standard Sunshade fits well, is easy to fold up, looks good and was such a good price that I bought 2 (in case I have trouble finding them later).

I just ordered another pair of these after my last set (that was in the trunk), got stolen during a tire change.
These fold up and just slip right into place against your windshield. They're so handy and take up virtually no space when not in use. They do their job in filtering out the heat, especially with dark upholstery, helping your car stay a little cooler. I really could have used these during the recent heat wave and they're on the way.
I can't recommend them enough.

I have Subaru outback sport and the jumbo ones of this item were too big for my windshield so these ones are better. Although they don't fit the whole windshield, they do what they are supposed to do;keep out the sun and keep it cooler in the car.
