This is the exact same velcro that came with my original ezpass from the NY Thruway Authority. It worked great on my new vehicle and was easy to install. I did not want a suction cup ezpass holder because it has been my experience that suction cups are just not reliable.
This replacement ezpass tape is the way to go.

These 3M dual-lock strips are identical 1.5" strips to original EZ Pass, comments about "nearly the same quality" and length being shorter are wrong. Comments about getting them free from customer service are also true for some states, but if you want something fast $4 is not much to pay. Overall, vendor delivers exactly what is promised.

The Illinois Ipass you can get for free. Maybee not free time,gas and more tolls to go to a location that has them. They do not mail them and the tollway I use does not have any place to get them. So I would have to go way out of my way to get them more gas and I would have to pay more tolls to get there. So thanks for selling them for less then it would cost me to go get them for free.

the 3M adhesive strips are great but you dont need to buy them from this vendor, just call the agency that issued your tag. Most will send it to you for free or for way less than what this vendor wants with shipping.

The other reviewer is right- just contact the agency that issued your EZ Pass and they will send out new strips for free. This took all of about 2 minutes on the phone.
