29 LTD BT w/ Bluetooth® Wireless Technology
Cobra is giving professional drivers one more way to communicate safely and easily with the first-ever CB radio with Bluetooth technology - the new 29 LTD BT. The Bluetooth feature allows drivers a better way to have phone conversations on the road because calls from a mobile phone are synched with the CB radio. A noise canceling microphone allows calls to be heard loud and clear, even over a noisy engine. Incoming audio is routed through the radio's 5-Watt CB speaker making it easy for the driver to hear the caller. The unit also provides one-touch Bluetooth operation, giving drivers the ability to stay focused on the road by answering and terminating calls with the push of one button. An auto-redial feature also allows for one-touch redialing of the last number called.
The new unit offers 4 Watts AM RF power output, the maximum amount of power allowed by law; Talk Back controls allowing drivers to adjust the desired amount of modulation talk back; a Blue Channel indicator displaying channel selection in cool blue illumination; and Delta Tune which is used to clarify incoming signals. The 29 LTD BT is redefining the CB radio!

A great unit for those who live in "hands free" states to legally allow the use of your cell phone without taking your hands off the wheel.
The microphone for the CB radio also houses the Bluetooth microphone. You do not push the button to talk on your cell phone, but if the mike is not mounted near the driver's face, you may need to hold it in order to be heard.
While driving in a semi, it works well to cancel out the noise of the truck from the background.
In addition, the advantages over mobile Bluetooth devices is that you do not need to recharge this unit. If you spend a lot of time in a vehicle, this is a good product for you.
Do be careful with the microphone, however. It is not the standard 4-pin microphone used on virtually all CB radios today but instead has six pins. If the microphone is damaged beyond use or must be replaced, a special microphone with the Bluetooth technology is required to continue using the unit.

I have a Cobra 29LTD BT radio in the truck and it is a wonderful way to be hands free while driving, you have the option to add an external mic and have it closer to you. it is easy with a press of a button on the mic to answer a call.

We initially purchased one of these and after seeing how well the Bluetooth function worked with the phone, immediately purchased 3 more. We replaced an old Cobra 25 with one of these. We eventually paired 2 of them with Firesticks and 1 of with a Cobra HG A2000 antenna. After properly tuning, the sound out of these is amazingly clear. For driving together they are much better sound quality than any of our cell phones. The built in SWR meter is very easy to use. By using the built in SWR meter we calibrated each unit to at worst a 1.2 SWR. They also look great too. The chome trim and nobs create a great accent to our dashes. I expect we'll be using these for a long time.

Best Cobra 29 to date. Excellent blue tooth. Sounds better than my phone alone. Everyone thinks I'm calling from home, and don't hear all the back ground noise of my truck. I did have a shop turn down the lights for me since all my driving is at night and I keep the cb mounted to my right just above eye level (I've had other brands turned down as well so that is no major issue). I only wish they made the other Cobra models with bluetooth like the 148, or made a bluetooth add-on kit for other brands and greatly increase sales to the CB enthusiasts loyal to other CB brands. A+ Cobra!!

The bluetooth works very well on this CB. It meets my needs perfectly. I drive a truck and the only time I get frustrated with my Cobra is when I am walking around the truck. My phone will ring in my pocket but I can not answer it because it is connected to the bluetooth. I have to run back to my CB to talk. Thats my fault not the CBs.
